About the app
Arrow Escape Puzzle - PixNix is a single-player puzzle game available on Android and the web. Players tap arrows to clear paths and progress through levels. It is published by ArvantaOne under the PixNix brand. Our official website is https://arrow.pixnix.app/. The Android package identifier remains com.pixvibe.arrowescape; this technical identifier does not change with the public brand name.
Information we process
Game progress stored on your device
We store level progress, hearts, hints, settings, sound preferences, and unfinished-level state locally on your device so the game can resume where you left off. On the website, equivalent progress and preferences are stored in your browser. Local storage also remembers sync prompt choices, account-specific progress and the last successful sync time. Clearing app storage or browser site data removes these local saves; they are not a permanent backup.
Optional Google Play Games sign-in
You may choose to sign in with Google Play Games. Google handles this sign-in under its own privacy policy. The current version does not use Play Games to upload game progress or create cloud saves.
Optional Google sign-in and cross-platform level sync
Google sign-in for level sync is separate from Play Games sign-in. You can decline sync and play locally. If you opt in, Firebase Authentication processes your Google account identifier, email address, display name and profile photo where supplied by Google, and creates a game user ID. Google handles your password; the game does not receive it. Authentication sessions are persisted so you can remain signed in on later visits or app launches.
Cloud Firestore stores your highest unlocked campaign level under your game user ID. Separate account-linked Android and website markers record whether each platform has successfully synced. The website uses the Android marker to show “App linked”, and Android uses the website marker to show “Website linked”. These markers do not indicate that a device is currently online or signed in. The marker is removed during account deletion. Sign in with the same Google account in the app and website to use the same cloud progress. Sync runs after sign-in, on startup with a restored session, after completed campaign levels, and when you select Sync Now. For the same account, the higher local or cloud level is preserved. Hints, hearts, settings, daily-game state and unfinished puzzles are not included in this level-sync record.
Sync requires a working internet connection. If it fails, you can continue with locally saved progress and retry later. The last-sync date shown in Settings is stored locally and records successful sync, not just a login attempt. Switching Google accounts keeps account-owned progress separate.
Usage analytics
The Android app uses Firebase Analytics and the website uses Google Analytics, controlled by the game's applicable analytics consent settings. Events can include app or page views, level starts, completions, failures, restarts, hints used and time spent playing. Analytics services may also process device/browser information, identifiers and network information. These measurements are separate from the cloud level-save record. The website's custom gameplay events contain gameplay values rather than your Google email or profile name.
Advertising and consent information
The Android app uses LevelPlay mediation to show banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Its configured ad-network adapters include Unity Ads, Yandex, Meta Audience Network, InMobi, and Liftoff Monetize. Ad partners may process device, advertising, network, approximate location inferred from IP address, and ad-interaction data to deliver, limit, measure, prevent fraud in, or personalise advertising where permitted.
Google's User Messaging Platform presents consent choices where required. Country routing is used to show appropriate privacy choices, including additional options for users in Brazil and Canada. You can revisit applicable choices through the privacy settings entry in the app.
Permissions
The app uses internet access to load advertising and optional Google Play Games, Google sign-in and cloud-sync services. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location for normal gameplay.
How information is used and shared
Local game data is used only to operate the game and restore your session. Information processed by advertising, consent, or Play Games services is handled to provide those services. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers include Google/Firebase for authentication, cloud storage and analytics, and the advertising and consent providers described above. Our website at arrow.pixnix.app is hosted on Vercel. Website hosting processes requests needed to deliver pages, which may include IP address and browser information. These providers process information under their own terms and may operate servers outside your country. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
Your choices, retention, and security
Cache and local storage
The in-game Clear cache control removes temporary cached resources, while preserving local levels, synced progress and your sign-in session. It is different from clearing app storage in Android Settings or clearing browser site data, which can remove local saves and sign you out. Browser saves belong to the website address where you played; local progress on an older domain does not automatically transfer to arrow.pixnix.app. Use Google level sync on both addresses to transfer your synced campaign level.
Sync choices and account deletion
On the website, closing the automatic sign-in invitation with the cross dismisses it for that browser; selecting “Not now” defers it for three days. Closing the Android home sign-in bar defers it for three days. These choices are stored locally and can reset when site or app data is cleared. You can still sign in through Settings. Signing out stops sync on that client but does not delete the cloud account or its saved level.
Use Settings → Delete my Data and confirm account deletion to delete your Firebase game account and its cloud level record after Google verifies your identity. This does not delete your Google account or Play Games profile. Your current level and local game saves remain on the device/browser so you can continue playing. You can remove them separately by clearing app storage or browser site data. Other devices may retain their own local copies. Signing in again creates a game account and may upload retained local progress.
Cloud account and level data remain until account deletion. Successful self-service deletion removes the active Firebase account and level record; if it fails, retry or contact us. This action does not automatically erase separately processed analytics, advertising records or provider logs, which follow the relevant provider’s retention settings and policies. Contact us for assistance with requests relating to that information. Account deletion instructions and request options are available without installing the app.
You can play without Google Play Games sign-in. You can control or reset advertising preferences through your Android and applicable in-app privacy settings. Removing the app or clearing its storage removes locally saved game data. We keep only the information necessary for the purposes described above and use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children and changes to this policy
The app is not directed to children under the age required to consent to data processing in their country. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service, contact us and the relevant service provider. We may update this policy as the app or its services change; the revised date will appear at the top of this page.
